Client Testimony: Meesh Glover

Tell us a little bit about yourself:

“My name is Meesh, Im 31 and a virgo sun, scorpio moon and aries rising. I love the yee haw agenda and I miss my friends and family back home dearly, but currently residing in dry ass Phoenix. I DJ, formerly did community organizing before capitalism engulfed my life completely, and engage in other creative endeavors that come across my radar.”

What is it like to work on projects with Harmony of Take Time Studio?

“Working with Harmony has and always be a joy. It truly is an experience when someone is as talented as they are. They have really understood my vision when it comes to my tattoos and logos we have collaborated on. It's sometimes hard to get a thought out on paper, but we just speak a language that we both understand, and they have executed some of my best work I have on my body and in my creative endeavors. I truly am blessed to know such an amazing and creative individual.”

“They have always been really sterile, gentle and patient with so much attention to detail with each of my tattoo's. I regret not a single one and I only truly trust them with my tattoos at this point.”

Tell us about some of the tattoos you have:

“I have about 7-9 tattoos from Harmony. Most were on a whim, but I have pretty much been there since the beginning of their tattooing journey. We would randomly just choose a tattoo to do while hanging out and it has been amazing seeing their skill improve from my first tattoo to the newest one. I have my first tattoo from them being a bumble bee on the cuff of my ass, and it's a beauty, but comparing it to my snake heart chest piece that is most recent? WOW. No notes. I literally brag about all of the tattoos I got from them, but the chest piece has become my favorite (next to the Courage the Cowardly Dog tattoo). They have always been really sterile, gentle and patient with so much attention to detail with each of my tattoo's. I regret not a single one and I only truly trust them with my tattoos at this point.”

You have also commissioned logos from Take Time Studio, how did they communicate your ideas?

“As far as logos go, we have worked on a number of projects together. The two biggest ones were my mutual aid I started during the pandemic to help out struggling Black queer folk. It was called Hand in Hand mutual aid, (click to support) and the logo came out so amazing, I still get complements on the merch featuring the logo today. My other logo for my DJ'ing has also received so many praises and seeing myself as a version of the Sailor Scouts, was genuinely the greatest visual to experience. Again, they take a thought of mine and execute perfectly. Even if there are minor adjustments, they know how to take note of those, and bring the exact vision you want executed alive. I love them and appreciate them dearly for all the work that they do and will always recommend them for this avenue of creative needs.”
